I learned that producing a community event is very difficult. There are many groups of people involved in order to be able to produce an event like this. I was responsible for getting food vendors. I worked with Cayla and Sarah on this. I was able to get one really good one, and I'm actually very proud of it. It was really challenging to get other food vendors to call us back. Overall the zine fest was a success. Everyone was sharing their zines, and you could tell we were happy to do so. Also, the professional zine makes were having fun. Everything went well and everyone was at their shifts on time which helped the whole fest flow. The only thing that made my kind of sad was that not many people went. I was expecting more. This leads me to my next point. I would tell the next year's organizers to really focus on promoting this event. The more people that come, the better the zine fest will be!
